Training center Dar al Yasmin
Dar al Yasmin has moved to a new place, where we can further develop our training centre for newcomers. In addition to language classes, we will intensively guide newcomers from the start in taking control of their future, both in terms of work and social participation.
With a positive mindset – working on connection and well-being
Dar al Yasmin is an organisation of newcomers. We work at the intersection of social and mental issues. So it is about empowerment, social harmony and inner peace. About cross-cultural connections and feeling at home. About creating opportunities and being valued. About beauty, diversity and enriching society with our own colour.
We organise activities in line with this vision, especially in our home city of Nijmegen. This website is intended to deepen the aforementioned themes and strengthen the connection with our international partners.
Social initiatives
In many ways, we want to contribute (a drop) in making the world a more beautiful place. This is part of our programme for citizen participation.
Social enterprising
In general we want to contribute to a more equal and inclusive society. Therefore we support newcomers who want to start a (social) enterprise.
Well-being
The well-being of newcomers is mostly helped by a taylor-made approach. We support newcomers on an individual base by coaching and by organising activities.
